Privacy notice

neo is in a limited pilot. Last updated 11 October 2026.

What neo stores

Your email address, to sign you in. The role briefs and candidate profiles you save, the reviews neo runs on them, and the conversations you had with neo’s interviewer to create them. Unfinished role interviews are saved so you can return to them.

Uploaded resumes are read once to draft a profile and are not stored. Only the profile you review and save is kept.

Who can see it

Everything you save is private to your account. When you send your profile to a role through its link, the hiring team gets a copy of that profile as it was when you sent it, and your email address. They don’t get your conversation with neo. You can withdraw from your profile page, which deletes their copy and any reviews of it.

A hiring team may also add you as a candidate from your resume. That profile belongs to their workspace. Contact them, or us, to have it removed.

How AI is used

Text you type, documents you upload and saved profiles are sent to OpenAI to run the interview, draft profiles and briefs, and write evidence reviews. OpenAI doesn’t use this data to train its models, and may keep it for up to 30 days to monitor abuse. neo never scores, ranks or rejects anyone. Reviews quote candidates’ own words and suggest questions. People make every decision.

Where it runs

Cloudflare hosts neo and its database. Supabase handles sign-in. OpenAI processes text as described above.

Deleting your data

You can delete any role or profile from its page. To delete your account and everything in it, or for any other question, email privacy@neo-hire.com.
